Guilty Pleasure [K-Drama/Movies] Updates!

Kesukaan gw sama hal yang berbau Korea bermula dari tahun 2001-an, gara-gara film “My Sassy Girl”. Aishiteru, mas Ken <3<3…How are you???*plokplokplok*

Superb.

Quotes yang gak bakalan gw lupa :

The Girl: You know why the sky is blue?
Kyun-woo: Because the reflection from the sunshine causes…
The Girl: Wrong! It’s to make me happy. I wanted it to be blue, so it’s blue. You know why fire is hot? It’s all for me. I wanted it to be hot, so it’s hot. You know why we have four seasons here in Korea?
Kyun-woo: For you?
The Girl: Correct.

My Wife is a Gangster 1 & 2

Tapi pas dapet filmnya..Oh, no. GAK bagus.

MY Wife Is a Gangster 2

No Manners

Sex Is Zero [ gw fans Ha Ji-won banget!]

100 Days With Mr. Arrogant

Daddy Long Legs

Bareng ama suaminya Han Ga in…plus klo gak salah ada Hyun bIn juga deh

Love So Divine

Yang pinjem ni filmmmm…balikkin dunk!! *muter otak mikir sapa yang pinjem*

Dan yang paling berkesan banget buat gw itu film Duelist, yang mengulang sukses karakter polisi cewek jaman Joseon yang kuat dan juga you know funny and witty! She’s good at it!

Selanjutnya….

So Ji-sub Fans

Can’t Live Without Robbery

ceritanya kocak banget, si kalo gak salah So Ji-sub itu tukang bikin game komputer.

The Way Home

I cried because it’s soo damned good!

Taunya gak buruk sama sekali.  Well, selamat hunting film2 Korea lawas deh, karena menurut gw film lawas mereka lebih caught my attentions gitu dibandingin sama film-film keluaran baru…feel-nya gak dapet. Hehehe….

To You’…addictive banget lagunya.

Setelah cukup lama gak liat drama, baru lah My Sassy Girl Chunyang bikin gw jatuh cinta lagi buat nonton K-drama. Lalu keterusan deh liat drama-drama bagus lainnya. Fusion Sageuk drama.

Hong Gil Dong

A Man Story

He’s a menza! hahaha…

Sassy Girl, Chunnyang

Kayak My GirlFriend is Gumiho.

My GirlFriend is Gumiho

Coffee Prince

But It worth lah buat gw.

Lalu ada Goong. Goong 2 meskipun ada Se7en…gak terlalau suka….

Tahun 2011 sampe 2012…mulai banyak drama yang keren-keren…kayak Sungkyungkwan Scandal, The Musical, Dream High, The Rooftop Prince, Shut Up! Flower Boys Band, The King 2 Heart dan banyak lagi.

Rooftop Prince

The King 2 Heart

Sekarang ini, gw lagi nunggu Gaksital sama Ghost selesai, Equator Man lagi nyari kasetnya belom dapet juga…hahahaha…kayaknya gw ampir aja pensiun dari dunia K-drama karena gelar yang gw sandang bukan ‘atlit sprinter’ lagi, yang dari mulai buka warnet ampe tutup warnet, udah puluhan judul gw tonton waktu 3-4 tahun lalu.

[youtubehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lOh_WfH4Pc]

Equator Man

Karena keren, gw kalang kabut nyariin DVDnya…cuman belom dateng2.

Oke deh, sekian dulu obrolan panjang yang gak tentu arah tentang hobi aneh gw….

Annyeeeeoong!!

I’m so ran-out topic!

Oke!

Gw rindu Hyun-bin main drama rom-com kayak ‘My Lovely Samsoon’. Tapi di drama ini…omonaa~ he’s turning a typical filthy-rich-bastard yang suka semena-mena sama cewek yang disukainya naek satu level dibandingin sama filthy rich bastard lainnya lewat peran Ju-won.

Selain fans-nya Shin Min-a, gw fans berat Ha Ji-won sejak dia jadi model MV Wax ‘Oppa’ makin demen liat dia di ‘The Duelist’ bareng Kang Dong-won. Selain mereka berdua masih ada kasting lainnya seperti Yoon Sang-hyun[My Fair Lady], Kim Sarang [A Love To Kill], dan juga Lee Phillip[The Slingshot].

There’s still a room left for another fantasy-drama in my heart…Dan gw berani bilang Secret Garden punya premise dihati gw.

Entah ini ada hubungannya atau nggak ya? Dulu pas You’re Beautiful tamat, SBS bikin drama yang kesannya mirip dalam pengkarakteran dari YAB ke Stars Falling From The Sky– I miss you Mr. Lawyer dan of course, Parang!!Tapi setelah manteng sampe episode 2, gw baru sadar beeeedaaa banget sama apa yang gw pikir awalnya.

And I love that kind of feeling.

Over-all gw suka banget keesentrikannya Ju-won lewat gesture mischievous little kid yang seakan out of place.

Kim Sarang berperan sebagai Seul, I love to hate her and watch her fall down later on. Tipikal penggagal cinta sejati, dia mantan pacar Oska dan sekarang mau dijodohin sama Ju-won. Dan untuk Lee Phillip, tipikal pangeran dengan jubah tak terlihat bagi Ra-im–that kinda guy in K-drama land is never…ne.ve.rrrrrr ever gonna end-up with the girl!

Satu lagi, cinematografinya bagus.

Onnie gw yang nyanyi soundtracknya yang berjudul ‘That Woman’–so, so, sooo sad liriknya. But pretty catchy ballad song.

So, jangan sampe kelupaan nonton ya? Siap-siap pesen dilapak kesayangan kalian–hehehe.

Mei signing off <3<3<3

Hye-in surprise kiss to Dae-woong? “Noooo!”

Lord all mighty…when I’m bound heart and soul with this drama. The sadness, the angst and the bad-things-will- coming to torn draw nearer between them.

Last episode, MGIG showed us that Hye-in aka the EVIL NOONA[that what my friends call her] suddenly kiss Dae-woong by force and what Hye-in does makes Miho knocked down unconcius. After Hye-in’s learn about Dae-woong cant kiss another girl or kiss by a girl, something bad will happen to Miho. Oh, hoo! You’re taking the advantages by using Miho as your stunt while you can’t even move a leg like her and now! Now you must bring them down and hurt them since you can’t have Dae-woong? Hye-in should learn how to become a human not the Gumiho, she’s too selfish.

It breaks my heart watching Miho fall from the height after Hye-in kiss him, hearing Dae-woong shout in angry mode to that evilllllll noona, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!”

The stories is so innocent about Gumiho who wants to be a human being, she met a guy and gives her “Ki” to save him from dying. Both of them tries to get along, she learn about human from the guy but on the contrary its him who learn about human condition itself from her. As far as 10 episode, I owned by this drama. Like Lee Seunggi said in the ost, “I’m Losing My Mind”

Let’s all losing our mind with this cute couple shall we?

Looks who we have here?

O.M.G!!

Because Korea still mourning about the sunken ship accident, so every variety shows in each TV stations are canceled.

Looks like I’m gonna wai~iiiiit until next Saturday for Invincible Baseball Team!!! Why~why~why?

Because of this…[pictures taken from here]

See the printed name on their shirt????

I spelled it out for you…

7 BAEK SEUNG HYUN

96 HWANG JUNG MIN

109 CHA SEUNG WON

I’m in luvvvvvvvv…kekeke….yes–yes–L.O.V.E!!

I know Invincible Team also match against another celebrity team such as Albatross [Kim Song Soo and Oh Ji-ho team]and Zuma Zuma[I only know the guy who play Jang Geun Seok bodyguard in ‘Hong Gil Dong’ actor Inseong on this team]…but I never get excited as this. Maybe because I love the 3 actors…

I thought this is Danny Ahn smilling…but it’s Baek Seung Hyun.

but this is the team from a new movie from renowned filmmakers Lee Jun-ik will present on April. ‘Like The Moon Escaping From Clouds’ expected to be a successful film same as Lee’s project previously, ‘King and The Clown’.

The plot brings us to the Japanese invasion in Joseon Era in 16th Century (1592) which tells about men from the lower classes of the society who fight for social equality. The film stars Cha Seung-won and Hwang Jung-min who will face off against each other. Lee Mong-hwak (played by Cha Seung-won) is a leader of revolution forces who fights with his sword becoming the king to change Joseon order. Whereas Hwang Jeong-hak (Hwang Jung-min) is a blind swordsman who very skillful to cut any man down.

Appearing in this movie are young actor Baek Sung-hyun and Han Ji-hye. Sung-hyun plays role as Kyeon-ja who was dumped by his family and the world. And Ji-hye’s role is a woman who risk her life to have the only man she loves.

The one who’s ready to swing batt is the movie director Mr. Lee Jun-ik. Sir~ I’m going to watch your new movie!! I had goosebump when I watch ‘King and The Clown’ — you make Lee Jun-ki superb!

So…which side should I picked?Hmmm…more pictures eyy~haha!

Bubble Kim-joon & maknae has a kkotminam rival~pheww…sorry both of you, this time I’m rooting for him since I don’t know when I’m gonna have the chances to saw him play baseball again! Please understand your nuna

I’m glad Chuno is already end airing, if not Oh Ji-ho beard has a pretty strong rival–hehe…

Too bad Lim Chang-jun still busy with his promo works, so he doesn’t have the chance to went up against Hwang Jung-min.

Cinderella’s Sister

Ratings don’t lie >_____< people!!

I love it. It just me or KBS is doing a great job making 3 of their drama such as IRIS, Chuno and now– Cinderella’s Sister? Because all fit-in from the good directing, scripting and of course the casting.

I know I’m a little bit out with IRIS (not one of my favorites, but I have to agree because the 3 aspect that I’ve utter above is great — only the espionage is not my things). In Chuno, they made something different on the screen not like any sageuk drama I watched before, and now this melodrama Cinderella Sister caught me off guard when I think it’s boring like many other melodrama, that’s why I tend to skip watching melodrama — but with this I’m ready too deal with all the tears, hurts, angst’s…what ever the jargon is.

Unforgettable scene above is from episode 1…

And above is from episode 2…

At least every week I wouldn’t be boring anymore with Wed-Thurst ‘Personal Taste’ + ‘Cinderella’s Sister’ = Good.

Personal Taste

I’m officially jump off from Oh! My Lady bandwagon and gonna sticked with this one…

Well with Cinderella Sister took the lead on rating with a 16.7%, while Personal Taste in second with a 12.7% — I’m definitely watched Personal Taste, but curious how Cinderella Sister story goes…so, let’s found about that later. I’m eager to post Personal Taste premier yesterday night.

My comment after watching the 1st episode is great. I laugh, cringe with ‘the gay guy-blow job’ jokes and enjoyable to watch.

Lee Min-ho and Son Ye-jin can pull it off their characters good, and of course good-fitting supporting cast that makes me eager, you named it! From Bong Tae Gyu[The husband I hate from ‘Working Mom’], Im Seolong[2 AM], Ryu Sung Ryeong[I fall for him since ‘The Chosun Police’ and Painter Of The Wind], Jo Eun Ji[Who doesn’t like this woman? I ❤ her], Park Hae Mi[flirting mom in ‘My Precious Son’ and ‘High Kick season 1’], Ahn Seok Hwan[Jandi’s ‘Boys Before Flowers’ father turns as Han Chang Ryul father], and Jang Won Yong[The crazy reporter in ‘You Are Beautiful]– it’s a full pack of amusement right?

And for Kim Ji Seok…I shouldn’t watch his movie with Lee Na Young first before he acted on this drama– his characters here is killing my fantasy about him on the movie. Well, you see…he’s a cute boy next door who drool over a girl he loved.

Episode 1 screencaps :

By the way I love her hoodies…

My room just like her, clothes is every where I turn my head…

Kae-in’s hot on those dress, but apparently being chic isn’t her expertise! That is Kae-in, our heroine.

Now, we meet with the dandy guy…thats, uhmmm we drooled for! Jin-ho.

Waking up with a girl beside him. He knows it’s just an act from her, so he ditch her right away by telling her that he actually likes–guy. Yeah, right?!

Love how he’s befuddled infront his mom making excuses…haha~cute Jun– I mean Jin Ho.

Both of them are late and suddenly an ill-fated meeting in the morning occured while fighting each other over a taxi.

And both of them defeated by un-known passenger who make a move first and drove the taxi away. Feel annoyed…now they share bus!

But guess what? When the driver makes a sudden break ….

Her butt landed a support from his both hands. Pervert– at that time, YES!!

I know he’s just want to protected his dummy on his lap, but actually he’s been checking out Kae-in’s butt for such a long time and she caught him off guard. The reason is because she was wearing an ajumah panties and the line is printed on her skirt. Duh? — what’s wrong with ajumah panties? Are you expecting a naive woman like her wearing a thongs?! She can’t even handle her own heels for god sake! Haha.

This is Han Chang Ryul, Kae-in’s ‘boyfriend’ and Jeon Jin-ho rival. They’re dating each other, but I guess he just doing it like a mandatory service to her because she seemed overly in love with him– every body know he’s a player!

Chang Ryul ask her out because he want to say something private. This silly girl jump in happiness when she think that this is it! The time has come and he’s gonna proposed her. But does she know that this guy is trying to get rid off her and marry with the lucky back stabbing Cinderella by tommorow?

Jin-ho who loose face at the presentation on the art center project from him, came and ruin everything in Kae-in perception — Chang-ryul are kneeling when he showed up, he’s definitley ruin Chang-ryul proposal to her. After Chang-ryul scoff him off and leave, Kae-in reminds the pervert guy not to mess with Chang-ryul — the guy who will marry her. I think Jin-ho’s already know that this girl wasn’t Chang-ryul brides.

Kae-in is helping out her bestfriend Lee Yong-sun, and meet up with another friend Kim In-hee. I guess the three of them want to spend the night in Ke-in houses because tommorow In-he getting married. At that night Kae-in told them how her boyfriend Chang-ryul is going to proposed her, Yong-sun is happy with that news while In-hee’s not. The reason is…the guy that will taken her in marriage is none other than Han Chang-ryul. Oh~ man! This is bad. Yong-sun is suspicious about In-hee and told Kae-in behavior is strange by not introduced her man to them. While in the bathroom, In-hee call Chang-ryul and expected him to settle things down as soon as possible before tommorows wedding.

Chang-ryul call Kae-in to have a dinner and he said he has something to say. Kae-in agree because she thinks this is the continuation of today proposal — they meet at a restaurant. When she blurt out about ‘this is like a last dinner’ it is her last dinner before he put her in a douched bag ~ poor Kae-in. He wants a clear break up but can’t say a thing about his marriage with In-hee. Those ruthless back stabbers!!

After Chang-ryul said he wants to break up with her, with a broken heart take a drink with Lee Won-woo her secret admirer. While Jin ho too, had a night guys out with his sunbae Jeon Song-ha and his hobae Kim Tae-hoon who couple’s hour before storms into his office trying to beat a crap out of him because of a girl. Jin ho smoothly convince that the girl is just like his little sister.

Tae-hoon is drunk and Jin ho took him into a love motel, he strip him up and leave Tae-hoon in bed. Before Jin-ho tries to leave , he write something on the mirror.

While Kae-in drunks too, Won-woo make his confession. But the girl know how to sucked it up — she puke at him. Ewww!

So, Won-woo take her in to the same love motel. He want to take advantage while she was drunk and try to rape her, but thank god she getting her concius back in no time and scold him ‘Are you crazy?!’. But before he run away he balks at her, ‘Yes I’m crazy. I’m crazy because of you!’ — if he never intend to rape her, he’s a cute one. Haha…

Kae-in leaves the room but she meet with Jin-ho out side, he pick at her. But he lost for words when Tae-hoon with only boxer on tries to prevent him leaving half drunk by saying ‘Hyung! Don’t leave. Do you know what love is?You’re not that kind of person’.

Kae-in look at him with full of glee. This is her first impression that Jin-ho is gay.

When out side the hotel, Jin-ho waits for a taxi. Now he call it first so Kae-in can’t sabotage his taxi anymore. But she told him to help her picking a gift to her best friend who will getting married tommorow, but he just give her an advise.

Chang-ryul came to Kae-in house to slipped the wedding invintation through the door. Because he cannot said it to her in person to not come to the wedding, he leave a message on her phone. ‘I’m marrying Kim In-hee tommorow. The gift that I want is for you to not come to our wedding’.

And from now on…all hell break loose.

Romantic comedies top TV line-up

Well I’m hyped hearing those dramas will actually aired Tonight and it’s HARD to pick >__<  I’m not sure how good is ‘Prosecutor Princess’ and ‘Cinderalla Sister’ is? But I’ll try to followed up later for those two maybe after watching ‘Personal Taste’. I hope the premiere is good! — It’s Lee Min Ho after all.

From The Korean Herald

Starting tonight, all three major broadcast networks are revamping their Wednesday and Thursday night primetime line-ups. KBS places its bets on the tried-and-tested melodrama, looking to reel viewers in with a young and hip cast featuring former child star Moon Geun-young, boy band 2PM member Ok Taec-yeon, “Fashion 70’s” hottie Chun Jung-myung and “Tamra, the Island” heroine Seo Woo.

Opting for the feel-good value of comedy, SBS takes their series to court. In the new drama, “IRIS” actress Kim So-yeon enters the realm of slapstick as a fashion-forward rich girl-turned-prosecutor.

But it is MBC that holds all the cards for this timeslot.

When done wrong, rom-com can be overly saccharine. When done right, it is the perfect pick-me-up.

“Personal Taste” is rom-com on a good day.

Never mind the star-studded cast – “Boys Over Flowers” heartthrob Lee Min-ho, top actress Son Ye-jin and boy band 2AM member Im Seul-ong – the entire premise screams upbeat, funny and charming.

In this spring romance, talented yet steely architect Jin-ho (Lee Min-ho) ends up rooming with a messy tomboy of a girl, Gae-in (Son Ye-jin). Gae-in agrees to the new living situation under the mistaken belief that Jin-ho is homosexual.

Therein lies the axis of comedy and stirrings of love around which the series will revolve.

The two are doomed to fall for each other, thanks to their close proximity. The gender reversal, with Gae-in as the unkempt, boyish figure and Jin-ho as the put-together, metrosexual roomie, plays on a timeless “Twelfth Night”-type plotline, minus the cross-dressing of course.

Lee Min-ho, who perfected the art of being prickly yet endearing in the hit comic book remake “Boys Over Flowers,” upheld his end of the romance in the highlight reel at last week’s press conference.

More known for her roles as a vixen (“The Art Of Seduction” 2005) or a demure damsel (“Summer Scent” 2003), Son, at first glance, cut an unlikely Gae-in.

The highlight reel put an end to such concerns. Her portrayal of Gae-in was spot-on.

Disheveled, goofy and downright lovable, Son’s Gae-in conjured up a popular slang term for single, unmarried career women: “geoneomul” (Korean for “dried fish”) girl.

For those who have not heard the latest moniker, a “geoneomul” girl is someone who is great on the job, put-together and talented. But once she gets home all she wants to do is slap on a pair of sweats, pull her bangs back with a rubber band, chug beer and chew on dried strips of squid. Hence, the expression “dried fish” girl.

The popular Japanese comic book series “Hotaru no Hikari” reportedly spawned the term, painting a comedic picture of a single career girl who finds herself living with her squeaky clean boss. In 2007, the comic book series was reworked into a Japanese TV drama.

When asked whether or not she drew inspiration from the heroine of “Hotaru no Hikari” for Gae-in, Son answered that the director of “Personal Taste” mentioned the drama version’s heroine.

“But I haven’t seen it,” the 28-year-old actress said at the recent press conference.

Instead, Son revealed that she was sparked by another popular Japanese comic book series “Nodame Cantabile,” which was made into a Japanese television drama in 2006.

The original charts the escapades of the musically gifted Nodame a.k.a. Noda Megumi, who, though adept at the piano, is not adept at personal hygiene.

When asked if Gae-in will be as dirty as Nodame, Son answered: “She will be severely filthy … There will be cups of ramen rolling around.”

“She is very easy-going and off-the-wall … I think she is the most comical and absurd character that I have played yet.”

Co-star Lee Min-ho, on the other hand, will be playing a chic, spick-and-span architect, a role he feared might overlap with his “Boys Over Flowers” persona.

“The director told me to put emphasis on the character’s touchy personality so I told him I wanted to focus on other aspects since I did cranky in ‘Boys Over Flowers,'” said Lee.

If MBC is going for a light-hearted gender bender rom-com, then KBS is betting on the appeal of a melodramatic twist to the classic fairytale, Cinderella.

The drama proposes a different take by turning the spotlight on Cinderella’s sister. Though Gregory Maguire already did it in his book “Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister,” the heroine of KBS’ “A Sister of Cinderella” is an entirely different sibling from Maguire’s Iris.

The story revolves around the romance between a cynical stepsister Eun-jo (Moon Geun-young) and her prince, Ki-hoon (Chun Jung-myung). The Cinderella of this tale, Hyo-seon (Seo Woo), covets the same prince.

The highlight reel, however, did little to suggest that this was a new take on the beloved fable. Scowling and looking weepy in bedraggled clothes, Moon’s stepsister seemed more like a modern version of Cinderella than an evil stepsister, while Seo Woo’s Cinderella, beribboned and frilled, evoked the wicked sibling rather than the cinder-clad sweetheart.

The addition of a faithful suitor for Eun-jo, played by 2PM member Ok Taec-yeon, furthers the sensation that the stepsister is merely a Cinderella in disguise, with a grimace and attitude to boot.

If there was a bit of sugar to the original, this version, said actor Chun Jung-myung at last week’s press conference, “is not a sweet and cute romance.”

Sweet and cute, however, are precisely what SBS’ new series, “Prosecutor Princess” is going for. “IRIS” actress Kim So-yeon plays a luxury brand-loving rich girl who embarks on a brand new career as a prosecutor.

The concept of a primped and pampered girl taking the world of law by storm is a good one. After all, “Legally Blonde” was such a success that it even spawned its own musical. But “Prosecutor Princess” is up against some stiff competition and it will be interesting to see where the cards fall tonight.

“Prosecutor Princess” airs tonight on SBS at 9:55 p.m.

“A Sister of Cinderella” airs tonight on KBS 2 TV at 9:55 p.m.

“Personal Taste” airs tonight on MBC at 9:55 p.m.
